Fertility yoga benefits anyone who is just starting out to try to conceive, has been diagnosed with unexplained infertility, has polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or endometriosis, has had one or more miscarriages or is undergoing assisted reproductive technology treatments (ART).
Meeting once a week, we will explore postures that focus on strengthen the uterus, pelvis and ductless glands (thyroid, adrenal and pituitary). You will be encouraged to connect to your body and adapt your practice to how you are feeling and where in your monthly cycle you are.
We will end each class with a 15 minute guided yoga Nidra session. Yoga Nidra is an a practice of deep relaxation and can be used to manage stress and connect on a deeper level and awaken your inner potential.
Participants will receive a guide of postures they can do on their own at home, according to the phase of their menstrual cycle.
